Can I use GeoDNS to route users to the nearest PoP?

Yes. You'd need a GeoDNS provider (Cloudflare, Route53, NS1, etc.) pointed at your edge nodes' IP addresses. Each node has its own IPv4 address you can register in your GeoDNS configuration.

Can I run SSL termination at the edge?

Yes. Install Certbot for Let's Encrypt or configure your own certificate on each Nginx/Varnish node. SSL terminates at the edge and traffic to your origin can run over HTTP or HTTPS on the backend.

How do I keep cache in sync across many nodes?

Cache invalidation is a logic layer you control — common approaches include push-based invalidation via an API call to each node, TTL-based expiry, or using a central origin with each edge node acting as a pull cache. We don't restrict how you implement it.

Can I use this for video CDN?

Yes. Nginx with the HLS module or an HLS-aware reverse proxy can cache video segments at each edge, and the 10 Gbps port gives headroom for many concurrent viewers.

What software can I install on edge nodes?

Full root access — install Nginx, Varnish, Caddy, HAProxy, Traefik, or any caching reverse proxy. You can also run custom Go or Node.js edge logic alongside a caching layer.
